When Do I Need to Register?
Anyone who relocates to the Netherlands for more than 4 months needs to register at the municipal authority. Most municipalities require you to register within the first 5 days of your arrival to the country or as soon as you have your rental contract with The Citylifer.

After you register you will receive your BSN number (Citizen Service Number). This number will be needed to open a bank account, apply for your health insurance, and get a Dutch phone number.
When and How Do I Deregister?
Caution!
You must also deregister from your address as soon as you leave your apartment. The next tenant will only be able to register at the apartment when you deregister. But don’t worry! You can deregister online through this link:
